L'Chaim Collective is beginning to host a Kabbalat Shabbat once/month, on the third Friday of the month. A lay-led team will host this service monthly, hoping to provide all of us a space to take a deep breath and pause as Shabbat begins. Through singing, prayer, and a d'var Torah (discussion of the week's Torah portion), join us to reset after your week and begin Shabbat in joyful, song-filled community.

Location: Quaker Meetinghouse

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible space on ground floor. Handicapped parking right next to the Quaker Meetinghouse

What to expect:

• 6pm - Silent Meditation

• 6:30-7:30pm - Kabbalat Shabbat

• 7:30pm - Kiddush

Donate: Our events are free and open for all to attend. If you’re financially able, we’re suggesting a donation of $36 per person to help us cover the costs of renting spaces and printing prayer books.
